US Export Data by Hs code
The World Customs Organization (WCO) created the HS Code, or Harmonized System, as a multifunctional worldwide product nomenclature to represent the commodities being delivered. All commodities that cross international boundaries nowadays must have an HS Code. The code came into effect in 1988. The WCO consists of 200 members who meet every 5–6 years to discuss changes to the code. The HS Code is organized into 99 parts and comprises 21 chapters. There are 1244 headers and 5244 subheadings in each of these sections. The headings and subheadings provide more product detail than the chapters and sections, which are general categories of the items. There are six digits in the code. The chapter number is represented by the first two numbers. The segment is described by the second two digits. The section is described by the second two digits, and the subheading is described by the final two digits. For further categorization or grouping, countries add two or more numbers. The HS Code
